Tex-Star Transport is now looking for experienced Ethanol/Chemical drivers that want to earn an above average wage for hauling chemicals. We have long term consistent opportunity for reliable Drivers and Owner Ops in this area, Earning potential of 300-600 a day. Call now Experienced drivers only.

Responsibilities

• Transport Chemicals over land from storage facility to storage facilities all around the country.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log via electronic driver log books work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Input "macros" into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process

Chemical Drivers 

• travel is required

• home time weekly (depending on Location)
• You will be working 8-12 hours a day five to six days a week
• Must have 2 plus years experience hauling chemicals

• current haz-mat with tankers endorsement

• twic card required

• ability to pass a background check with no felonies

• clean driving record up to one ticket in the last three year

• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver

• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid truck driving license
